Halarialgre

Halarialgre

capital: Zranf

It has changed names and borders as often as its neighbors. Its primary distinction is being the point at which the great rivers diverge and flow northward (Great North River) to the strait and southward (Fal) to the Sartoran Sea.

Its geography is mostly hills and marshland, though the west has some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the midlands. The origin of the name Halarialgre relates to those waterfalls.

Its (dubious) historical distinction (in modern times) is being the place where Norsunder began the invasion that came to be known as the Norsunder War. Zranf's great fortress, built into the side of a cliff, served as Norsundrian HQ, and was subsequently destroyed. Most of the population fled, except for infestations of Norsundrian renegades when the war ended, which led to its becoming a client of Enaran-Adrani.

Its southern border is Fal (Kerga) whose border, and name, often changes.
