Loethe
Used in medicines and sometimes as an astringent. Grows on stalks in dried streams and lakebeds, and when the sprigs at the top flower, the lily-like blossoms gather sunlight, giving off a soft glow at nightfall. It's hardy, sweetly astringent--a fresh scent, revivifying. If there's enough of it, or the roots underground reach a certain complexity, it will send up a low tree. Birds like to nest in these trees, using the soft blossoms for nests, and they eat the seeds, spreading them far and wide.
