King of Colend. Norsunder, sometimes called the Moon, as he is very beautiful and very cold. He is also schizophrenic in a strange way, for which Detlev is accused of messing with his mind. The truth comes out in later stories.

He has one son, Shontande Lirendi, who is kept virtually a prisoner in a gilded cage, not only during his childhood, but later when there is a Regency.
