Riding Leader for the Renselaeuses. She was one of the first women to be trained in their private army. Her mother is maid to Elestra Renselaeus. Yora first encountered Mel when she was escorting her from Debegri's dungeon to Renselaeus and later was part of the group of soldiers patrolling Athanarel. She was later sent as part of the wing to Orbanith.^[1]
