Meir Harnesh is the last of the series of kingdoms whose center can be regarded as Alccandemer, as far as the political world is concerned, but whose center from the point of view of morvende and maulans is the south of Kotelia. Meir Harnesh has a fine natural bay into which ships have sheltered from the severe northern storms, and the harbor at Alma is used for trade by ships not stopping at Doltir or Point Canda or Selan. Like Flendereh it's scarcely recognizable as a political entity, its government existing almost entirely to deal with trade with outsiders. There is thus no ruler, but a Council of Alma consisting of local Guilds and traders who interface with the morvende weavers.
