Son of Alaerec Renselaeus and Elestra Renselaeus. He marries spoiler Meliara Astiar and they have 3 children: Alaerec, Oria, and Elestra.
He is about 6'1-6'2, slim in build, long-waisted, with long, pale blond hair.[1] He has large, grey eyes, a straight nose, and a long mouth.[2]
Though he seems to be a fop, he was well trained at Marloven Hess's military academy. After his military training was completed he traveled to Colend to learn to be a fashion leader to avoid King Galdran Merindar's suspicion.[3]
