Omerenth is one of those beautiful kingdoms that contain pockets of old magic in its forests, lakes, and mountains. It is not heavily populated with humans, and those who live there tend to get along with the weirder inhabitants of the world. Its ruler, Jesan Mehalen, acquired it by marriage, as government has never been a priority for the little clans in their valleys and lakeside villages. Kings, the Omerenthi feel, are mostly for dealing with outsiders.

They look northward for cultural influence, particularly to the morvende and centaurs of Goerael Haer.
